Starfish Specialty launches new landlord insurance product with Azur Technology

Azur Technology has completed its latest project for Starfish Specialty Insurance, delivering a new landlord protection product that includes an industry-leading tool that allows for streamlined multi-location quoting. Brokers can now use the product, called LandlordProtect, to upload and quote a list of locations in a near instantaneous process.

LandlordProtect is the latest product developed by Azur Technology on behalf of Starfish Specialty Insurance. The MGA now operates using a single CRM and policy admin system with additional bespoke tools built for individual products, reducing implementation time.

CSV upload for multiple locations is a groundbreaking function of LandlordProtect, enabling brokers to add addresses and property details without time consuming manual data entry. In just seconds the system evaluates eligibility using criteria such as property characteristics, proximity to coastlines, flood and wildfire risk, and public protection class.

Technical specifications of LandlordProtect include Broker Portal, Digital Rater, Underwriter Workbench, API integrations as well as policy document generator and billing. Azur Technology is working on phase two of the product build, which will include the ability to cover properties across additional US states and greater automation for submission import.
